Meet The Artists and Songwriters of Volume 701   ...

Graham Gould, "Goodbye Lover, Hello Friend"
Born and raised in the City of Melbourne, Australia, Graham's early country musical influences came from the likes of Marty Robbins and Glen Campbell. Graham started playing in bands in local dance halls and bars in the late 60s before moving into Cabaret. Joining the band STONEY CREEK in 1979, they carved a name for themselves on Australia's country music circuit, headlining at most of the major music festivals in the eastern states. Because of the band's harmonizing and backing abilities they were also chosen as back up for many of Australia's top solo artists. Graham toured and recorded with the band as well as winning an award for songwriting. Many of the old unrecorded songs became the catalyst for recording this new album, Soundboard.

Kentucky Sisters "Hurtin' "
Songwriters: Susan Spratt, Laura Stewart, Beth Bass, Mary Daniels.
From the moment your audience hears the first song from these Sisters', they will be absolutely wowed by their vocal harmonies. They move through every genre of country music, singing tunes from today's top artists along with traditional standards from such legends as Patsy Cline and Hank Williams, Sr.  These girls will have everyone laughing when they present their "Tribute to the Judds". And for those who just never seem to get enough of good old rock 'n roll, the Sisters perform some of their favorites from the 50's and 60's. Be prepared to join in the dancing when they sing songs from the Caribbean. And when a little bit of gospel is thrown in, it all adds up to ONE GREAT SHOW

Kris Miller, "Alive And Well", "Buckets"
The songs of Kris Miller are original songs of her personal experiences and intimate communions with God. They are all messages given for this day and age. From singing the songs a cappella around campfires 25 years ago, to the current sound with microphones, amplifiers and instruments, the songs keep evolving. The recordings of them today is a miracle. These are songs of awakening, Love, and fulfillment of the Promise of God's Kingdom. They are songs with a message. Songs given by the Spirit for the people; a new testament of our Lord with us in today's world. Her music is Universal with flavors from the East, to traditional gospel to modern Christian R&B; yet they are unlike any. Rather, they are a blending of flavors, a new sound. There is an uniqueness in the rhythms and the harmonies. It is an ageless and familiar sound that stirs the soul. The voice of Kris Miller is a unique instrument in itself. She sings with true Love and conviction she feels for our Lord- Amen.    Email: info@krismillermusic.com

Timothy Neal Keziah "Let Me Tell You", "Broke Down Blues"
Born, raised and living in Monroe, North Carolina; Tim is a plumbing contractor by day. His passion is songwriting and performing his original songs. "A strong belief that God was telling me to share my music with the world was the reason that I started writing and performing again. I will share more of this with you in a future release. Until then it is my sincere hope and wish that you will enjoy the two songs that I have chosen to release on this NITE*SKY CD. I hope that each of you had a very merry Christmas and I wish for you and your listeners a safe, happy and prosperous new year."              Telephone: 704-283-6403  or  704-283-2233

"Broke Down Blues" co-writer Dennis Ray Pressley
Next door neighbor to Tim Neal Keziah, Dennis is in the food industry by day, enjoys hobbies such as football and other sports on television, is very clever with words and that is one of the reasons that Tim likes to write with Dennis. Tim will recite a line, then bang, a line will just pop right out of Dennis' mouth, and that makes for a very good co-write.

Jasmun Basilone "Daddy's Little Soldier"
An aspiring young song and dance performer, Jasmun (17) turns those talents to her Dad, who is serving as a convoy commander for KBR working with the armed forces in Iraq.  Jasmun wrote and recorded "Daddy's Little Soldier" to show her support for her dad, soldiers, and others serving in Iraq. This is an expression of how much she loves and misses her dad, and a representation of all children that have loved ones serving in the armed forces. Recorded in Birmingham, AL in 2006. She received a beautiful letter of thanks and best wishes from President and Mrs. George W. Bush for her support and kindness, which reflects the spirit of our Nation. For CDs or to have Jasmun appear at an event, contact her manager Ruth at 256-245-3477.  Emails:  RMagnolia2@msn.com   Ruthrmagnolia2@aol.com

Larry Piatt "She's Sleeping Like A Baby"
"She's Sleeping Like a Baby", co-written with Doug Graham, is the first single from Larry's "Live Wire" CD. George Clinton, Producer, and Craig Johnston, Engineer.  Larry was part of the top secret "The Big Red One", 1st Infantry Division, in the U.S. Army.  After honorably serving his country, he is no longer top secret and has returned to performing in London, Ontario, and the Eastern U.S.
It all started in Pasco, Ohio with three year old Larry riding a wooden stick with a plastic guitar strapped to his back, pretending to be Gene Autry.  When Larry was in his pre-teens Larry's dad got him a real horse, and Larry would ride with a real wooden guitar strapped to his back.  Now  Larry "Sundance" Piatt rides a steel horse and delights his audiences singing and playing great traditional country.  Larry is very thankful to his mom and dad for all the support they have given him.  His dad passed away on July 13, 2006, but his dad's supporting spirit still lives with Larry.  Larry is proud of his dad being a pilot in the Air Force, and says his dad "has a front seat in heaven watching (me)".
Larry gives all the praise and glory to God for all that  he continues to accomplish.  Larry says "without Him in my life I would have no life". Email:  Sundance33773@Yahoo.com

Tommy The UK Cowboy,   "Ashes To Gold"
I never imagined that one day I'd love country music so much that I'd be performing and recording it! Helensburgh, Scotland is where I was born, where there was little hope of hearing any American country music on the radio or telly. About as far from Nashville as one can get. On TV I regularly viewed the American westerns such as "The High Chaparral" and "Bonanza" and became drawn to the romance and legends of the American west.

Gary & Carol Bibb "Don't Drink And Drive", "I'm Gonna Love You While I Can",
Born and raised in Missouri, husband & wife Gary & Carol Bibb write and sing songs about life issues, hope, and love as an expression of how they live their lives in relationship with people and each other.
"I'm Gonna Love You While I Can"  sends a message that will encourage people to spend more time with the one they love. Life is very precious. To love and be loved is a blessing from the Lord, "God is Love".  The time we take to show how much we love someone by our actions and words reflects how we can say and sing "I'm Gonna Love You While I Can", with every beat of our heart. May we Love each other now.
"Don't Drink And Drive"  If  one person's life is saved through the message of this song it was well worth the writing.  Every year people of all ages are killed by drunk drivers. This song was written to encourage people not to drive while intoxicated, and in hopes that innocent lives would be saved. This song is not written to pass judgment on anyone, yet the records stand clear that hundreds of lives are lost and heartbreaks are increased due to drunk driving. Someone's prayin' stay alive. Live a little longer, "Don't Drink And Drive".  We want to thank the DJs for all of their e-mails and support on our three previous releases with Nite*Sky. Thanks to Andrew and Terri Dean for the family atmosphere in their work with recording artists. Thanks to our son-in-law and daughter, Larry and Kimberly Marrs, at Marrs Recording Studio in Nashville and most of all thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the words, melody and music to our songs.            Email:  gacabibb@peoplepc.com

Lauren Rainey "Hallelujah Express"
After only one year in Nashville Lauren has become the host of CMT Broadband "Custom Built" show, and secured a multi-year publishing deal. "Hallelujah Express" is the first worldwide release from this talent. Lauren has had substantial local success with her self-penned, release of   "I Win".   Website: www.MySpace.com/LaurenRaineyMusic

Fran MacLean - Songwriter
The story behind "Hallelujah Express" (Pat's Song)
During one of Fran's many trips to Nashville, she saw a truck that was named "Hallelujah Express". Thinking it very interesting she noted the name in her book, where it stayed for many months. Fran befriended a Christian cleaning lady named Pat, who had a stroke, but with God's help fought back and returned to work. One Friday Fran commented to Pat about how well she looked, and Pat responded she "was feeling much better". The next day Fran woke up with a strong urge to write. Looking in her book she found "Hallelujah Express", and her mind just seemed to stop and demand that the song be written. Moments later "Hallelujah Express" was born. Monday morning Fran heard that Pat had died on Friday, only an hour after Fran had told her how well she looked. Fran attended Pat's "home coming" the next Saturday, the Preacher spoke many of the lines from "Hallelujah Express", which he did not know had been written one week prior. This was no coincidence. Fran then realized who her co-writer was. The best co-writer one could have.            Telephone: (615) 772-3290

E. Ruth Jones - Songwriter (Mother of Dee Dee)
The story behind "Lord Help Me Hold On To You" In Memory of Jeffrey Jones, Dee Dee's brother. Written while Jeffrey was in a coma from a motorcycle accident some 20 odd years ago, he passed away shortly thereafter. This song was finished in 2006 with the help of Nellie Downs, the aunt of Dee Dee's husband. "Mrs. Downs did the musical arrangement for us, we owe her so much for her wonderful talent, for without her I don't believe this song would have ever come to life."

Andrew Dean "Makin' Good Time", "Sow That Seed For Jesus"
Country & Gospel, 2 of Andrew’s many diverse styles of songwriting. An upbeat trucker’s anthem and a beautiful song with 4-part southern gospel harmonies (all vocal parts sung by Andrew).  Growing up, Andrew  listened to a lot of different music styles, and influences include: George Jones, Travis Tritt, Vince Gill, The Beatles and many gospel groups.  Andrew estimates he has written over 100 songs, and can play the piano, guitar, bass and drums. "I write emotional, poetic, and even funny lyrics. I've been through a lot of experiences and have seen a lot of things, and I write about that in my songs".

Your compilation CD Vol. 701 is arrived in good shape, thank you.   Track number 2 fit to my taste and will be included in my forthcoming shows.  Kentucky Sisters sings sweet and tuneful, and the song is filed with soul, great. Your own Makin’ Good Time is a toe tappin’, finger snappin’ up-tempo and tuneful country song, as not need further promotion. Song number 9 is bluegrass on high level.  The lyric is today and many people should take learning about the story. The Gospel songs is all good, and I won’t praise one above another.
