I was raised in a little town in the north of Italy. My father died in a train accident when I was seven years old and my mother have to raised four children of her own. One year after began the second world war in Europe and we suffered. When the war was over there was very hard to find a job in Italy and therefore many Italians went abroad to find a better future. This happened to me, and I immigrated to Brazil 1952. The only one in my family who played any musical instrument was my father, he played organ. As a teenager I went to a music school and learned to play classic guitar, trumpet and contrabass. After I have met the famous steel guitar player Gino Bordin and got lessons from him, the steel guitar became to be my favorite instrument for the rest of my life.

Close your eyes. Then, move in silence the sound of a Hawaiian guitar, the kind that you usually hear in movies typical of Hawaii, with the girls doing the sarong time’s hostess of the paradise. No, you're not on Fantasy Island, but not far from Campinas. The music actually exists and is executed by Ambrogio Gaigher of 77 years old, known as the "king of the Hawaiian guitar." Instead of foreign compositions, it’s Sertaneja (Brazilian Country) like The Little boy at Gate(O Menino da Porteira),Ambrogio is equipped with two fingertips made of plastic and a typical steel bar when he plays the instrument.
Italian from Schio, a region of Vicenza, in Veneto, Gaigher remember that he found the instrument when he was 15 years’ old, when he heard a musician, Gino Bordin, playing this instrumentin the theatre in Ambrogios hometown. When Bordin ended the concert, Gaigher waited and asked him how to play steel guitar.
When the ship M.N. Conte Biancamano came to Santos, in the year 1952, after 14 days on the sea, the music wasn’t his main activity. Man of a thousand facets, Ambrogio Gaigher account that started working in San Paulo – he was a tooling specialist - and in his spare time, he started to "invent the things missing here," he recalls.
From a grinder for razor blades to the prototype of keyboards. "I have many registered patents," he says. In his book, The Path of Life - An Immigrant in Brazil, he tells about many activities that he had done, from painting of pictures, an activity that he has as a hobby, the entrepreneur. Not only his admiration for his instrument he also has manufactured Hawaiian guitars.
But he doesn’t hide his preference for the Fender, the guitar brand that is considered one of the best in the world. With it, almost all weekends, he makes presentations at ‘Arca de Noé’, his property, on birthdays, weddings and events held there, situated on the border between Campinas and Hortolândia. Temporarily, for a health problem he hasn’t travelled to shows. When I improve, he says, he already knows the direction it will take: Sweden. "There I am famous."
Here, he says, "Now I play songs as instrumentalist." Recently, he won the Music Award from Nite*Sky Records in the United States, as the best instrumentalist of 2008. "I have an offer for travel to many countries." Everyday, he says, his music is performed in foreign radios and also via internet.
Record collection
Currently, Ambrogio Gaigher has recorded six CDs, which can be requested by www..guitarrahavaiana.com.br site or www.myspace.com/ambrogiogaigher. Most have the same name: Ambrogio Gaigher - The King of the Hawaiian Guitar. In the repertoire, classic Brazilian songs as Recuerdos de Ipacaraí (Mirkin Demétrio-Ortiz), Kalu (Humberto Teixeira), India (José Flores and Ortiz Warrior) and Moreninha Linda (Tinoco, Priminho and brother). Moreover, the latter song appears in volumes 2, 3 and 4 of their albums. Account that Ambrogio was the first to record it only in the instrumental. The CD volume sixth brings ten compositions from Ambrogio himself.
Gaigher recognizes that the Hawaiian guitar is an exotic instument, "which is to die in the world for", and added: "It isn't so difficult to play." It has 10 strings, but can be played with 8. It also can be present with two guitars at the same time. This facilitates the sound. The sound is like a wave of the sea. He confesses: I still have dreams of doing a great concert in the theatre.

Neil Andrews is an artist who sang with one of Melbourne, Australia's first Rock N Roll bands, "The Planets" in the early 60's performing alongside many of Australia's most famous Rock N Rollers. During the 90's he turned his attention to Australian Country music, making numerous appearances on TV in "Conway Country", "Country Gold", "The Phyllis Diller Celebrity Hour" and "The Danny La Rue" Australian Specials. Neil's great love is writing and he has drawn on personal experience and a keen sense of observation to reflect the stories told in his four albums to date.

I’m Slowly Going Crazy

Kimberly grew up in Maryland Heights Missouri. Her Grandpa Jewel Bibb taught her how to play fiddle at 9 years old. She soon started competing in fiddle contests around the region. One of the contests was judged by Kenny Baker and Josh Graves who gave her first place. She was very successful at winning most of the fiddling contests. Her parents literally had a room full of trophies and plaques when she was a kid. At age 11 she won the Nashville Talent Search held in Brazil Indiana. The outcome of that was a 45 single with Bunky Keels on Piano, D. J. Fontana on drums (Elvis' first drummer), Bruce Watkins on guitar, who now plays on all Alan Jackson’s hits, and Duke Dumas on bass. The single charted at its peak at number 18 in Billboard, called “Country Fever” (A-side) and “Grandpas Fiddle And Bow“ (B-side). They performed as Kimberly Dawn and The Bibb Family Band, which were Gary and Carol Bibb, Jewel Bibb- Grandpa- Uncle Mark Bibb, Tammy Bibb now Camenzind, also Tom, Danny, Joe, Gene, Wayne, and the great Bobby Minner, who works with Tim McGraw. Kimberly was also playing with a local bluegrass group called Joe Rapisardo and Country Side Grass. While with this group she received a SPGMA award for fiddle.

Karla Perretta
Did You See Jesus
Karla Perretta may have been northern bred but her southern influenced roots inspire her songwriting which is grounded with lyrics and melodies that truly connect with her audience. Her identifiable vocals combined with her songwriting skills sent five of the six songs of her debut album entitled Good Kinda Trouble rocketing onto the ECMA play charts within two months of their release. Her new single, Did You See Jesus is a song penned from personal experience and establishes her ability to cross over from main stream country with touching, potent lyrics that touch the heart and deal with the pain of loss yet projects faith and hope that we will all see our loved ones again when Jesus calls us home.

A native of East Tennessee, Ron began taking private piano lessons at ten years of age. By the time he graduated from high school he was also playing rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and harmonica. He graduated in 1966 with a BSEE from Tennessee Technological University During his career he worked in the space program and then for Volunteer Electric Cooperative. After teaching electronics courses at Roane State Community College, he completed his career working at the Y-12 Oak Ridge facility. In the eighties he was active in gospel music in local churches and began playing the bass guitar. By the nineties he was using electronic keyboards and began making digital recordings. A nomadic believer in the freedom that is found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. We are not a religious group but instead a believing, born again, Spirit filled, living by faith minstrels of mission band of believers. If it's only Tony or the whole gang, God will be presented in a manner of life and living the walk we talk. Tony as well as all the others at Roadhouse Ministry are living proof of the changes the love and freedom Christ gives. Their music is straight forward, hitting the ones living bound by religious spirits as well as comforting the hurting and healing the hearts and souls of those who have fallen between the cracks. It can also bless those in a relationship with Christ. It is a cry to come home for those that are away. Salvation changed Tony and even more so after being Spirit filled. Tony is also a cancer survivor and that lends another testimony to God's grace. Through their humor story and songs they are a crowd pleaser each time. With a special anointing and a heart to reach, and touch others, and please God also how could they not be. Tony also is a proud member of the Patriot Guard Riders, Honoring those who have fallen and standing in support of our men and women who serve.
Tofte
Down By The River
Torill and Olav Tofte met in 1987 and started to perform together in 1988. In 1994 they started the band "Don't mess with Alice" that participated in 2 compilation CD's in Norway in 1995, and released a maxi single CD with 4 songs in 1997. In 2001 they changed band name to "Tofte" and recorded a full CD production with Trond Nagell Dahl - one of the best piano/organ players in Norway, Lars Håvard Haugen from "Hellbillies" - the best country-/country rock guitar player in Norway and Bill Booth (US) - mandolin /fiddle. Their songs have been heard on the radio in America, in 10 countries in Europe and some in Australia since 1995. They have had a lot of gigs including country festivals in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. They had meetings with distribution companies in Norway, and they nearly “made it”. They wanted a break, and during that break, God started to call their names. The result of this was a very special happening, leading to both getting baptized in 2005. In 2007 the couple made a new recording. This time with Christian lyrics. They now want to sing and talk about what God have done for this fortunate couple, and can do for everyone...

Be A Light
Kris’s songs are all expressions of her intimate communion with the Lord. At 17, she began to walk like Jesus on the road in faith. Just like the disciples of 2000 years ago, she was called to “…go to the highways and byways and preach the gospel of peace. Take no shoes, no script, no purse worthy of a thief…” She traveled for years going into all parts of the world giving everything she had to those in need. Through that experience came hundreds of songs of devotion, faith and lessons on how to pass through this world and stay in Love. Kris is now reaching out to the world with her songs to share wisdom & comfort given to her.

Singer-songwriter, blue collar artist Ray William Roldan. Was born in New Jersey and raised on the West Coast. He is known as someone with something to say. His soul does the talking through music and lyrics. The son of a hard working Cuban-Cherokee racer-mechanic and loving father; a descendent of show biz folk on his German-English mother's side. Subsequently, Ray developed an insightful and uniquely original view of life. As a mechanic, construction worker, artist, veteran, poet and family man; he is testimony to all that is interesting and heartfelt. His music gives the listener a glimpse of his unique experience. Recalling a time when lyrics said something, Ray seeks this avenue of expression for his work. Through the genre, Alt-Country/Americana, Ray has found the niche where Folk-like vision blends well with Rock, Blues and Country. He writes with the purpose of moving people. Giving them something to think about, to laugh with or sing to. When Ray throws in a bit of Blues, it is to emphasize the importance of good hard living. Ray's new release "Where We Come From" goes deeper into the country's backbone, portraying Ray's continued deep interest in Traditional Country and the Blues, though this album is more Alt-Country than even the last release. This album presents 13 new songs (twelve sung and written by Ray and one written by Mark Hayes). Ray helped compose and arrange the music around the one track by Mark. A collaboration which opened a new avenue of expression. Always loving a challenge, Ray currently co-writes with other artists who seem to know that Ray's special perspective will create a song that's better than ever. Ray William Roldan has an astute view of the world and his songs reflect the obvious complexities of living. His is an unusual talent for reducing the most profound human element into an easily remembered and well understood story. His true genius is the manner in which he gives his audience the tale. Tales of loss, of traveling, of love, of relationships and more. The compliments which pour out from the public pertaining to his use of words are profuse. And there is a reason for this. Without a 'formal' education, Ray found a lost world of poetic expression which is both clever and full of intelligence. "Where We Come From" is the result. This album powerfully carries each track to the audience with an unforgettable echo in the brain. Ray has been joined in this album by several prominent and talented musicians. Happy that Andrew and Terri Dean combined Country, Bluegrass and Gospel songs....terrific assortment that gives the DJ's a great variety of songs and singers for their listeners. I always marvel that Nite*Sky is very selective about who they put on their CD's, which makes for their top CD's time and time again.

4. Neil Andrews uptempo catchy music...and the lyrics are as good as you can get. Neil makes you feel you are right there with each incident he goes through. Music is very compatible with the lyrics and Neil's terrific singing. You will smile throughout the song. You will want to hear this song over and over and over, it is just that great! 6. Dave Wooley if you like "love songs", this one is one that will bring back happy memories to listeners. Dave has a soothing voice , clear and enjoyable to listen to. Wish there were more love songs like this one. ( Why I Love You).
7. Stevie & Debbie Cee bring you into the woes of economic problems, but as they do it express love & hope for each other. Stevie and Debbie present a duet in perfect form, and every word is understandable. I believe most folks will relate to it now or remember harder times in their lives! Absolutely terrific. 10 Karla Perretta presents this song so beautifully as she brings visions of heaven, her singing is superb. I marvel how Karla can start you off enjoying her voice and the song, and by the time it ends you feel so good, so terrific. Marvelous Karla. ( Did You See Jesus)
11 Kris Miller has another song that will climb charts steadily, she is an excellent songwriter, and has one of the best gospel voices in the industry. She definitely deserves to be on "TOP GOSPEL CHARTS"! ( Be A Light)
12 Tony Malone .....wonderful to hear this gospel song in an uptempo style, chorus comes in at just the right places. Tony you have a winner with this song for sure, makes the trip to heaven sound so perfect. ( Glorybound Train)
