I too am grateful to have a God fearing lady on my side in this promotion. I don't know where this will take me but I have seen results. I believe that people genuinely like what I do and I am getting played. I feel that you are doing all the right things for me. I am more than a voice. Hi Rhonnie, -- don't know if you want to use any of this or not, but it's revealing in a way that some of your artists might never stop to consider. it's not intended to be an accurate profile of any artist's airplay, it's intended to remind the artist of the importance of indie airplay in building his or her career. the airplay you get for your artists is phenomenal, and perhaps some of them don't realize how much it all adds up over a period of time. perhaps this will be an eye opener for some of them. :) even at one play a day, week after week, with a listening audience that averages 1000 fans per show, an artist would have his or her music exposed to 364,000 pairs of ears over a year's time. :) i don't know how often any artist gets played, nor do i know how large the listening audience is that hears the music, but i'll bet collectively, your artists are reaching "millions" of listeners on indie radio over a twelve month period. i think this is probably a much overlooked benefit that comes from being on a reputable comp program with promotion by "rhon-bob." :) i think most artists follow their airplay in terms of how often they get a song listed on a playlist, but i don't think they stop to translate that into the big numbers of fans who are hearing their music. I hope this will enlighten your clients on how well they are really doing, thanks to you, when the get played on some DJ's show. :)

I have never been more satisfied, with any company, of any type, whether it be Christian or secular, than I am with RhonBob Promotions! I felt led to email Rhonnie, who with her husband Bob, owns and operates RhonBob Promotions, back in January, 2007, just to get prices and to generally check them out. I had been seeing Rhonnie's name on at least, 25% of the emails I was receiving, concerning independent, Gospel artists. Rhonnie didn't send me a reply email, she called me on the telephone, in order to talk to me personally! Needless to say, I signed up for RhonBob's services.
I had been told by almost everyone, including music industry personel, who spoke at seminars, that no project would receive any radio airplay, unless it cost up there between $15,000- $30,000 to record, including producing, engineering, mixing, mastering, and packaging. The song I released, I recorded and did everything else, at home, in my little home studio. Gary Bradshaw was kind enough to put it on his WHP compilation, and Rhonnie started promoting it. That song debuted at #14 on the Roots Music Report's, Roots Gospel Chart, and it has now been on that chart for 58 consecutive weeks, and has never dropped out of the top 40, as far as I know. And that's not the only chart it is, or was on! I also need to say that it had nothing to do with my production abilities, because it really had some flaws!
I can honestly say that I have never known anyone who actually gives their heart to to artist, and the artist's cause, like Rhonnie and RhonBob Promotions! I've never known anyone or any company, that works as hard and steady, for as many hours a day, putting every fiber of their entire being into the promotion of an artist's project, just as if it is being done for the Lord, as do Rhonnie Scheuerman and the entire staff at RhonBob Promotions!
I love them, and choosing them, as my radio promotion company, was absolutely the best decision I have ever made, in ANY musical endeavor, in which I've been involved, over the past 29 years! Jerry Yates (jkyates@bellsouth.net))
