David T. Lester

David was born in Central New York in the small town of Ilion. In 1982, David moved to Central Florida where he earned an AA in Music from Hillsborough Community College (1988). David studied guitar at the University of Central Florida, and after moving to NW Ohio, he studied music performance at Bowling Green State University, where in 2003, he became the first student to earn a BM in Classical Guitar performance. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Science in Music Technology from Indiana University.

Other points of interest: Head of the guitar department at Terra State Community College in Fremont, Ohio, where he began as adjunct faculty, in January, 2001.Since that time, David has also taught Classical Guitar Ensemble, Electronic Music Ensemble, Recital Attendance, Music Business, and private instruction in Classical, Jazz, and Contemporary guitar styles.
