EDDIE RAY WAS BORN IN SAN ANTONIO TX. GREW UP IN MIDLAND TX. HE COMES FROM A FAMILY OF 8 BROTHERS & 2 SISITERS ALL MUSICIANS. EDDIE RAY PLAYS THE GUITAR & THE SAXOPHONE PLUS HE IS ALSO A SONGWRITER.
A San Antonio native, Barela recently took the step of founding his own production company, a new creative and business hub for Tejano and Regional Mexican music.
One of Tejano music’s most familiar voices Eddie Ray Barela has enjoyed great success as lead singer of Los Hermanos Barela.
